:: web sites :: My husband is a fine art painter. I developed this web site as a way for him to promote his work to galleries and potential clients and customers. :: Utilizes :: [Flash] serehd.org The Conservation Society of Pohnpei (CSP) is doing great things for conservation in the Federated States of Micronesia. I donated my web design services for this project and we worked together, over thousands of miles of ocean and many time zones to complete it. After some consultation I redesigned their logo, as well as creating the look and feel of their new site. The site is still in development and the hope is that, with a little long distance training, CSP will soon take over its maintenance. :: Utilizes :: [Adobe PDF] [Netobjects Fusion] classiceventsllc.com As a growing local events company Classic Events LLC was looking create an strong identity and web presence. We are just beginning work on this project but in order to ensure that their new domain wasn't just "dead air" I designed this temporary solution that communicates the very basics while we develop a more comprehensive site. I also designed their logo and a full identity package (stationary, business cards, presentation folders). :: Utilizes :: [Netobjects Fusion] mybusinesspak.com MyBusinessPak is my alter-ego when it comes to creating small business identity and web packages. Though I could have certainly handcoded this site I wanted to use Netobjects Fusion—which is my choice for small business clients—so that they could see how this easy to use software can produce a professional looking end product that doesn't look canned or stale. (This web site is still under construction.) :: Utilizes :: [Netobjects Fusion] nature.org For The Nature Conservancy's website, I manage promotions and web content, including writing copy and photo selection, for the Mesoamerican/Caribbean Region. We are currently launching an overhaul project for all the country program sites that fall within my purview, 11 in all. The following two have recently been updated. :: web features :: My proven ability to think outside the box has yielded tools like the successful HTML-email “Postcards from the Field,” which has been sent to both donors and Conservancy staff. The "Postcard" tactic has since been adopted by the larger Conservancy and has become a valuable way for the organization to communicate with its million-plus members. Not only are many programs using this format to communicate "conservation experiences" online, but my original postcard prototypes, developed during my time with the Asia Pacific Region, eventually morphed into what is today The Great Places Network. My work to create and produce tools like these has raised millions of dollars for The Nature Conservancy and provided me with valuable experience to apply to my consulting work.
